Reduced stigma around menstruation
By supporting these young girls, we hope to empower them to reach their full potential.
Many girls in underprivileged communities face significant hardships in school due to the inability to afford sanitary pads. This leads to missed classes, decreased confidence, and emotional distress, ultimately hindering their academic performance and future opportunities. The lack of access to basic menstrual hygiene products disproportionately affects these young girls, making it challenging for them to attend school with dignity and equality. Our initiative aims to provide 150 sanitary pads monthly to girls in schools across three provinces: Gauteng, Eastern Cape, and Mpumalanga. This effort targets underprivileged communities where access to menstrual hygiene products can be limited.
